OUR PROCESS
STEP ONE
In-Person Meeting
Our process begins with you sitting down and having a conversation with owner Jorge Adeler. Bring with you any jewelry that you would like to consider incorporating into the design or that you might want to refashion. If you would like, also bring any photos to help illustrate your style. Jorge will ask questions designed to focus the design to your desires.
STEP TWO
The Design Process
During this initial appointment, Jorge will then sketch designs right in front of you. This will be when you begin to see the piece unfold. You and he will address all of the small details that lead to a perfect and balanced design. This is when you will also address the budget and timeframe with him. Once he gives you an estimate to make this piece, it will never exceed that estimate (and sometimes it is even a bit below the estimate). We will then begin your piece. Our timeline is typically 4 weeks for a custom design and you will never pay a deposit.
STEP THREE
The Creation
Jorge will then meet with his master craftsmen in the atelier and discuss the materials that will be used, the timeframe and exactly how he wants the piece to be made. He will follow along through all of the steps to ensure that the sketch and design that was created for you is meticulously executed. This process involves hand carved waxes, casting and mounting of the gemstones before the piece is finished and polished. All of this is done on premises, from start to finish.
STEP FOUR
The Reveal
You will be invited to come in and see your completed design. If there are any adjustments we will take care of them. When you love it, and only then, you can take it home. That is what makes our process different. We understand that you must see your completed piece before committing to it. That is how we have done business for over 40 years and will continue to do so. We are happy when you are happy.
