It always feels good to GIVE BACK…but when you get to have a fun time doing it, it is a win win!
That was the case when we were treated to a benefit concert at the Strathmore Concert center ( https://www.strathmore.org/) by the legendary band STYX. This event was to benefit Community Services for Autistic Adults and Children, Inc. (CSAAC). In their words (http://csaac.org/ ) ” CSSAC has been serving children and adults with autism in Maryland since 1979. Due to the nature of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), many individuals CSAAC supports require lifelong assistance. “.
We sang and danced while doing good and raising money. This concert replaced their annual dinner Gala and I couldn’t agree more with this new format. It was a hugely successful fundraiser that worked to raise awareness as well as funds. I can’t wait to see who they get next year 🙂
