Last week we got a first look at Katherine Heigl’s new show State of Affairs.  Heigl plays Charleston Tucker (Charlie), a CIA officer plucked from the field to become the president’s daily briefer.  Charlie has a close personal relationship with the president (played by Alfre Woodard) because she was once engaged to her son before a tragic terrorist attack took his life.  The show is about her character juggling her complicated personal life and her demanding profession.  The American espionage thriller series premiered on November 17, 2014.  So far it is full of intrigue and surprising story-lines.  We can’t wait for next week’s episode! Being such fans from her Greys Anatomy days and now having a new show to obsess over,   it was a surprising treat to find her out shopping in Tribeca showing off a stunning Jorge Adeler designed Ikecho pearl ring.  What can we say….she has talent AND style 🙂
