What trends did I spot tonight on the Red Carpet?
Strapless was definitely a preferred neckline this evening. My favorites were Jennifer Garner, who paired her strapless gown with a lovely statement choker and “mess” up-do”. Jennifer Lawrence who wore larger earrings and a very delicate long necklace worn down the back and Jessica Chastain who chose a bold lip color as her only adornment.
The second trend I noticed was metallic and or shiny fabric dresses. This is a tricky look to pull off and some had more success than others. My favorites were, Nicole Kidman, who wore a formfitting black dress with statement dangle earrings, Halle Berry who wore a black and gold dress with OUR Adeler druzy and gold diamond earrings and Jennifer Hudson who wore a blue shimmery gown with dangle aqua color earrings.
Now we wait to see what trends emerge at the AFTER Parties, where the hair is let down and the fun really begins!!! Stay tuned 🙂
