How is a ring resized? There are two ways I can resize your ring. One is stretching, and the other one is cutting. If I stretch, it’s doable, but it puts the band’s durability at risk. If I cut and add gold to it or cut and subtract gold if I need to make it smaller, I will do a much better job. Once it’s finished, you will never notice that I soldered and polished it, but the ring’s integrity will be much better.
