So…..Bankrate.com called the other day to interview my father about the tricky business of insuring all the jewelry that we lend out to celebrities to wear at red carpet events – like this years 2012 Oscars.
It’s really quite fascinating how these expensive pieces survive the perilous journey from my dad’s jeweler’s bench to a starlet’s neckline and back.
