Christmas season is started officially by the Annual Great Falls celebration of lights coming up on December 4th. Presented by the Celebrate Great Falls Foundation the event will begin at 3 pm. Located on the village field this event will have a host of activities including Animals, snacks, and Santa Claus!
To start, enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo when you first arrive! While enjoying the music, weather, and animals grab a cup of hot cocoa or a snack. After getting settled in and warmed up with the animals and hot cocoa make sure you stick around for the performances by the local school choirs.
The main highlight and most important part of the event will be at 5 pm which you don’t want to miss. Arriving by the fire truck will be Santa and Mrs. Claus to light up the Christmas tree and kick off the season! Following the lighting of the tree, you will have the opportunity to visit Santa Claus personally. To end the night will be a live nativity scene.
