Pentagon Row Ice Skating Rink
At the center of the pentagon row is the ice skating rink. Home to the largest outdoor ice skating rink in northern Virginia and is accompanied by restaurants, shops, and places to keep warm, like the fireplace conveniently located right next to the rink. This place is a great way to relax and enjoy holiday fun with your family and friends.
The Wharf Ice Rink
The wharf ice rink is a unique ice rink that you need to check out. Placed right over the water, immerse yourself in the sites around you. This ice rink gives you a great view of the water, the monuments, and all other landmarks. Come for more than just the ice skating, sights, and unique experience. With lots of shops and restaurants close nearby, this experience can be a short visit or a day’s worth of fun.
Skate Quest
Skate quest is a premiere indoor ice skating rink that offers lessons and free skating but at more limited times. Due to the running classes, they offer only a handful of free skating time slots. But skate quest is a quality facility to skate in year-round. Skate Quest is also an excellent option for private and group lessons.
Medstar Capitals Iceplex
The MedStar capitals ice-plex is an indoor skating location located at the top of the Ballston quarter. This location is unique because it is the home of our local hockey team, the capitals! They offer private lessons, hockey leagues, free skate sessions, and even an opportunity to watch the Capitals play in their open practices. If you are a hockey fan or love to ice skate, this is one place you need to check out.
