The Adeler Story
Jorge, along with his wife, Graciela, and his two daughters, Valentina and Wendy, came from Argentina to the United States in 1973. With a passion for colored gemstones, honed by his background and travels through South America, Jorge and Graciela opened Adeler Jewelers in 1975. Through the years, his reputation for creative and exquisite design showcasing unique stones, exotic pearls and ancient coins in one-of-a-kind designs would propel him to open 7 locations on the eastern shore.
As the years went by, Adeler Jewelers became a two generation family business. Valentina graduated from university, went on to attain her Graduate Gemologist degree, and joined Jorge and Graciela. Soon thereafter, Wendy also graduated from university and completed the foursome team.
In 2001, the family decided to focus all of their energy and talent into their flagship store in Great Falls, Virginia. Just 20 minutes from the nation’s capital, this two story design showroom features hundreds of custom jewelry pieces designed by Jorge. And our talented master gold and platinum smiths hand craft each piece inside his on-site workshop.
As the family has grown, the third generation of Adeler’s are already sinking their teeth in the family business. From phoning the clients to let them know that their jewelry work is completed to keeping the glass on the showcases gleaming, the five grandchildren are also involved in learning the trade.
