After more than 300 years the San Jose has been found with $17 BILLION in sunken treasure on board. This ship was embroiled in a nasty Spanish civil war and was sunk in 1708 off the coast of Colombia. Though other ships from that battle have been unearthed, the San Jose was the last to be discovered in its fleet.
Who gets all of the loot? The Colombian Navy found the wreck and the government is treating it as a state secret to prevent looting.
