It is officially “after Thanksgiving” and we can begin getting excited about the HOLIDAYS !!! Our tree is lit (with over 18,000 lights) and we are ready to start singing those carols 🙂
If you are looking for other ways to get into the spirit of the Season this weekend has two great opportunities.
Saturday Dec 5th brings the Holiday Sing-A-Long at Wolftrap National Center for the Performing Arts. This annual musical celebration hosts a performance by the United States Marine Band and a Sing-A-Long of Christmas carols and Hanukkah songs with choir and vocal groups from the metro DC area. Don’t forget to bring a candle a jingle bell and a NEW UNWRAPPED TOY to donate to Toys for Tots. Admission is free and gates open at 4:00.

Wolftrap Holiday Sing-A-Long
Sunday Dec 6th is the 25th Annual Tree Lighting at the Great Falls Village Centre. This event is a fun community tradition that includes Pony rides, a petting zoo and live nativity, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive by antique fire truck and “light” the giant tree and hot cider and hot cocoa are flowing around the bonfire. This event is FREE and is from 4:30-6:30
